Hotel - Museo Xibalba - Palenque

The croissants at breakfast were a flaky delight that put a smile on my face! Plus, the hotel is right next to El Huachinango Feliz, where I snagged some very nice seafood. The unique museum atmosphere and warm staff.

A few of the rooms are in a separate building down the way. I could hear some noise outside that was a tad distracting, and the curtains didn't block out the streetlights well.

Staff were amicable and the hotel was bright, it had EXCELLENT location close to ADO bus terminal. The room was airy, it was spotless and the beds were big. Location: the venue was short walk to the ADO bus station and collectivo departure point to Palenque, Chiapas in couple of days, and centro.

The stuff where pleasant the whole time. The location was good and unbeatable: local supermarkets and a supermarket were within walking distance. Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 tube station was 10 min away...

The air conditioning was great, but my room felt a bit stuffy sometimes.

This was my 2nd stay, they offered double room with 2 double beds. It was a decent size, had beautiful decor.

The noise levels at night from nearby restaurants were unbearable. The separate building I was assigned to had minimal soundproofing, allowing all the outside chatter to seep in and disrupt my rest. The curtains did not block out the streetlights adequately, leaving the room too bright for comfort during nighttime.

The warm hospitality from the owner and staff. They provided valuable local insights.

While the location is charming, the occasional noise from other guests could be quite distracting at times, especially at night.

This place is a charming spot with excellent cleanliness and a very cool vibe. The staff is super warm and helpful. I loved the open-air design-was like a permanent tent! The decor is fresh and attractive. Plus, the bathroom had hot water, a bonus 🌞

I had a lovely stay at this charming place where the open-air design really let the fresh breeze in, and the bed was super comfy for a good night's sleep. I enjoyed lounging on the sun terrace and taking breaks under the beach umbrellas for a nice chill-out vibe. The only downside was the occasional noisy fan in the bathroom, but it didn’t dampen my overall experience. ☀️

Charming Atmosphere with Unique Museum Experience

The replicas of Maya steles were fascinating was nice. The staff was not only warm but also helpful, going out of their way to assist with local insights and tour arrangements. I found the air circulation in the room could use some improvement, as it was a bit humid at times.

We enjoyed exploring the nearby ruins with our child, who loved the very nice history. The owner, Marco. Plus, the refreshing pool was perfect for cooling off after a busy day.

My kids wished there were more family-oriented activities on-site.
